Sunset Memorial Park

As part of the third annual Before I Die New Mexico Festival, providers of caskets, urns, memorial markers and other funeral and cremation products will display items and answer your questions at this one-day Mortuary Mall. Complete the sentence, “Before I Die…” on the giant chalk boards at Sunset Memorial Park’s Cremation Garden Pavilion. Meanwhile, in the Sunset House, a workshop on preparing your advance medical directives takes place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and several end-of-life doulas answer the question, "What is a Death Doula?" from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.The Before I Die New Mexico Festival fosters reflection about how we address death and dying. By providing space and opportunities to openly discuss end-of-life issues, we can improve the number of those who plan ahead and take actions to address our mortality.
